Robert Thurman, BUDDHIST SCHOLAR, AUTHOR, TIRELESS PROPONENT OF PEACE
The first American to be ordained by the Dalai Lama, Robert A.F. Thurman is a professor of Indo-Tibetan Buddhist studies and co-founder of Tibet House US, a nonprofit dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Tibetan wisdom and civilization.
