Welcome to Summit Junto!  Junto thoughtfully assembles groups of leaders across distinct backgrounds and expertise to create an atmosphere of trust, mutual support, and advisement around your most pressing challenges. We fundamentally believe, the more diverse the inputs, the more meaningful the outputs, and that shared knowledge among diverse experts leads to better decision making and more innovative approaches to furthering one's life and community.

Membership, Participation, and Attendance

In order to maintain your membership in Junto, it is vital that you proactively participate in your Junto forum group as outlined within Summit Junto Member Portal and pursuant to the following criteria:


By joining as a Junto member, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, you are not barred from participating in Junto for any reason, and you will continue to meet all eligibility criteria we require.  At all times, you will provide only true, current, and complete information and you will be responsible for all actions associated with your membership and maintaining all accurate information while a Junto member.   

Conduct and Behavior

We expect members to embody the values, goals, and principles of Junto.  This means you will treat your forum, the Junto community and representatives, and all people involved in the Summit with respect, courtesy, and kindness.  You must comply with our ground rules.  These include the Terms of Service, Code of Conduct, Privacy Policy (including our confidentiality expectations) all of which are included in this Agreement by reference (collectively, the “Fine Print”) as well as any rules and requirements designated by your forum or elsewhere by Summit.  Remember to check for Fine Print updates regularly to stay updated.  Finally, we do not tolerate nor condone inappropriate, disrespectful, or illegal behavior of any type by any one.   Everything you talk, text, email, or communicate must be kept confidential.  This means that everything that is discussed within your Summit Junto Forum or any subsequent Junto properties must not be shared with anyone else unless permission is given from the individual who shared the original information.  If you have a concern about another member’s conduct or believe a member has violated Summit’s rules, code of conduct, or policies, you have an obligation to raise your concern immediately and to contact a designated Summit leader via   We rely on you to help keep our membership a safe and respectful organization.  You will be on time, courteous, and use the meeting to your full advantage.  Be mindful that your “full advantage” does not include solicitation or requests for funding or business from the Junto community. 

Costs & Payment

As a condition of your membership, you must provide full payment upon registration. Summit will provide confirmation of payment. Payment of your membership dues initiates the intake and community design process in which we begin to build and curate your Summit Junto forum group. Upon acceptance into Summit Junto, $1000 of your annual membership fee is non-refundable. If you decide to cancel your membership within the first three months of your group launch, $2500 + acceptance fee, a total of $3500, will be withheld from your refund. If you decide to cancel your membership after your third month begins, $1500 + acceptance fee, a total of $2500, will be withheld from your refund. Event transfers are not eligible for refunds. Grants or Pay-What-You-Can membership fees less than $2500 are not eligible for refunds. Not showing to Junto Meetings can result in your membership being canceled with no refund. Unless we provide otherwise, you are responsible for all your own costs and expenses associated with participating in a Junto forum. If there are unexpected costs that place a significant financial burden on you to the point of not being able to participate in Junto, we expect you to reach out to us and we will coordinate a call to discuss. At the yearly anniversary of your first meeting, you authorize us to automatically charge the method of payment on file associated with your account.


Your Junto membership will begin on the date of registration and continues for one year from the date of your first meeting unless earlier terminated for one of the reasons in this section.  After the first year, your membership will continue automatically.  As a courtesy, we will send you an email reminder of renewal and payment 60 days before we charge your method of payment at the then-applicable membership rate.  Of course, your participation is voluntary. If you elect not to contribute to your forum or Junto as required or you wish to leave Junto or your forum, you may do so by sending a non-renewal email to or updating your membership information via the member portal no fewer than 30 days before the end of the year.  Just remember that you will not receive a refund or any amount of your payment upon your early departure.   We are not responsible for Acts of God, force majeure occurrences, including widespread health crises or government orders, and your membership does not depend on the foregoing issues. We have a few more options.  We may terminate your membership immediately if you breach any part of this Agreement, fail to provide prompt payment, or for any reason upon notice to you.  Upon the expiration or any termination of your membership, you agree (1) to return any Summit materials to us promptly upon our request and (2) that the provisions of The Legal Stuff section below will survive indefinitely. 

The Legal Stuff


No Warranty

We have not made, will not make, and hereby expressly disclaim any representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding Summit, Junto, your forum, or the results, whether monetary or otherwise, of your membership in Junto, including without limitation any representations or warranties that participation in Junto will result in any particular amount or level of business or career success or failure.


You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Summit, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, mentors, speakers, attendees, and representatives, and other Junto members (collectively, “Summit Parties”) harmless from any claims, liabilities, obligations, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses) resulting from your negligence, willful misconduct, or breach of this Agreement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, (1) we will not liable for any damages in connection with this Agreement, including but not limited to direct, consequential, special, indirect, punitive, exemplary, or incidental damages, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages, and (2) you hereby knowingly and voluntarily accept all risk to your health, well-being, and tangible and intangible property and of your injury or death that may result from participating in Junto, and you release Summit Parties from all liability to you and your personal representatives, estate, heirs, next of kin, and assigns for all causes of action for loss of or damage to your property and for all illness or injury to you, including your death, that may result from or occur during your participation in Junto.

Ownership, Licenses, & Usage

We own all intellectual property associated with or created or provided by Junto in connection with your membership.  This includes Junto’s trademarks, licenses, and feedback.  You do not have the right to use, distribute, or modify any of our rights unless we specifically authorize you do to so.  You own and are responsible for content that you make available through Junto, and this must be compliant with laws, our Code of Conduct, and cannot infringe on anyone else’s rights. We may use your content at our reasonable discretion and with your consent. Everything in this Agreement is governed by applicable law (including everything you do, post, create, or discuss). 


The membership granted under this Agreement is personal to you and may not be assigned, in whole or in part, to any other person or party. 

Arbitration & Disputes

You should feel able and encouraged to come to us with any questions, concerns, and feedback you may have during your membership.  If there is a dispute or controversy, we agree to work with you in good faith to find a mutually agreeable resolution and this may involve mediation.  Any disputes arising hereunder shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York and shall be resolved under binding arbitration in New York, New York.  You agree that your sole and exclusive remedy will be to engage in arbitration that shall be administered by JAMS pursuant to its Comprehensive Arbitration Rules and Procedures with us and any Summit Parties.  Arbitration will be binding and on an individual basis.  This means you will not have, and you will waive, the right to proceed in a class or consolidated capacity and that a judge or jury  will not decide your claims.  


The illegality, invalidity, or unenforceability of any provision of this Agreement (as determined by a court of competent jurisdiction) shall not affect the legality, validity, or unenforceability of the remaining provisions, and this Agreement shall be construed in all respects as if any illegal, invalid, or unenforceable provision were omitted.  Entire Agreement  This Agreement encompasses our and your entire understanding and agreement with respect to Junto and supersedes all earlier discussions, understandings, or agreements between us.  Any changes to this Agreement must be made in writing and signed by both you and us.
