  • Investigation Process. Upon receipt of a complaint, Summit Series will: (i) acknowledge receipt of the complaint promptly; (ii) designate a trained staff member or appointed third party to lead the investigation; (iii) gather relevant information from available sources, which may include the complainant, witnesses, and any available documentation, at Summit Series' discretion; (iv) assess the credibility and severity of the reported conduct; and (v) determine appropriate responsive action, which may include warnings, removal from an event, revocation of future access, notification of law enforcement, or any other action Summit Series deems appropriate in its sole discretion. Summit Series shall complete its investigation within a reasonable time and will notify the complainant of the outcome to the extent permitted by applicable law and consistent with the privacy rights of all parties.
  • Complainant Confidentiality. The identity of any person who submits a complaint or report of harassment or misconduct ('Complainant') shall be treated as strictly confidential by Summit Series. Summit Series will not confirm or deny the existence of any complaint to the Respondent or any third party except as required by law.
  • Non-Retaliation and Non-Contact. Retaliation against any Complainant, witness, or participant in a Summit Series investigation is strictly prohibited and shall itself constitute a violation of this Code of Conduct subject to immediate removal and permanent ban. Any individual who is the subject of a complaint or investigation ('Respondent') is expressly prohibited from: (i) attempting to identify, contact, or communicate with the Complainant directly or indirectly; (ii) soliciting information from Summit Series staff, other attendees, or third parties for the purpose of identifying a Complainant; (iii) using Summit Series platforms, attendee lists, staff, or any other Summit Series resource to identify or contact a Complainant. Event participants and attendees will be held directly responsible for the destruction of personal or public property; the violation of the safety or rights of others; the violation of any federal, state or local law; or the violation of any other Summit policy that may occur while they are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If any of the uses above prove true, the participant or attendee will be removed from the event immediately without refund. Summit reserves the right to notify the authorities if any participant or attendee violates this policy. Summit disclaims any intention to assume duties to protect event participants and attendees from their own abuse of alcohol or other drugs, or to protect third parties from the conduct of event participants and attendees.

Health, Safety and Communicable Disease Policy

The Company organizes invitation-only events designed to bring together a diverse global community of entrepreneurs, academics, athletes, artists, authors, business leaders, innovators, scientists, philanthropists, and other distinguished participants (each, an "Event" and collectively, the "Events").

The health, safety, and well-being of attendees, staff, vendors, and guests are important priorities. Participation in an Event may involve exposure to communicable diseases, illnesses, or other health risks that cannot be entirely eliminated despite reasonable precautions.

By attending an Event, you acknowledge and accept that attendance is voluntary and that you assume the inherent risks associated with participating in public gatherings, including the potential exposure to communicable diseases.

The Company reserves the right to establish, modify, and enforce health, safety, screening, vaccination, testing, masking, sanitation, or other public health requirements for any Event, as deemed reasonably necessary to protect attendees and comply with applicable laws, regulations, governmental guidance, venue requirements, or local conditions. Attendees may be required to comply with health and safety protocols communicated before or during an Event, including health questionnaires, symptom screening, medical assessments, testing requirements, vaccination requirements where permitted by law, or other preventive measures. Failure to comply with applicable health and safety requirements may result in denial of entry, removal from the Event, or other restrictions on participation.

A. Illness, Screening, and Removal from Events

If an attendee exhibits symptoms of a communicable illness, poses a potential health risk to others, or is otherwise determined by the Company or its designated medical personnel to require further assessment, the attendee may be asked to undergo additional health screening or evaluation. If an attendee refuses to comply with reasonable health and safety measures, including screening or assessment procedures, the Company reserves the right to deny participation in or remove the attendee from the Event.

The Company may also require an attendee to leave an Event if the attendee:

  • Is diagnosed with, tests positive for, or is reasonably suspected of having a communicable illness that may pose a risk to other participants;
  • Exhibits symptoms that, in the judgment of the Company or its designated medical professionals, present a material health or safety concern; or
  • Fails to comply with Event health and safety protocols.

Where removal from an Event is required for health and safety reasons, the Company may, at its sole discretion, offer a credit toward a future Event or other accommodation. Except as otherwise required by law, cash refunds are not guaranteed.

B. Medical Assessments

The Company may engage qualified medical personnel or healthcare providers to assist with Event health and safety protocols. Any screening, testing, or assessment conducted by such professionals is intended solely to support Event safety and does not constitute medical treatment, diagnosis, or healthcare advice. Attendees remain solely responsible for their own medical decisions and healthcare needs.

C. Changes to Health and Safety Requirements

The Company reserves the right to modify, supplement, or implement additional health and safety requirements at any time before or during an Event in response to changing circumstances, public health conditions, legal obligations, venue requirements, or recommendations from governmental or health authorities. All attendees are responsible for reviewing and complying with any health and safety requirements communicated by the Company before or during an Event.
