Summit SF Dinner

Summit is pleased to invite you to an evening of connection and conversation to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, hosted by Toni Alejandria & Michelle Antoinette Nelson, at Palette SF.

Join your local Summit SF community on Tuesday, January 21 for a three-course family style dinner, featuring seasonal, artfully plated dishes created by Chef Peter J. Hemsley.

A complimentary welcome drink, along with beer and wine throughout the evening, will be provided.

Michelle Antoinette Nelson

We're excited to have Michelle facilitate our dinner. Michelle, aka LOVE the poet, is an artist, host, innovator, and CEO of Brown and Healthy, a global initiative which focuses on community engagement, strategic design, and wellness curation for people of color.

She has appeared on CNN Live, CBS WJZ-TV, and Fox 45 television as a multifaceted career creative who has dedicated over a decade to her life’s work to innovating for social justice, authoring books, curating live entertainment events, and writing for publications such as Baltimore Magazine and Red Bulletin.

She has also moderated narrative changing and thought-provoking panels for Labs at Light City and Afropunk and has been featured in Forbes Magazine for her work. Michelle is the Founder of BE FREE Fridays, the longest running monthly open mic in Baltimore, lead MC at Summit, and a co-curator and host of The Red Bull Amaphiko US Festival.

Chef Peter J. Hemsley

A chef by trade and artist by passion, Chef Hemsley is the chef-proprietor of Palette. Food is a multi-faceted creative medium for Chef Hemsley - from penning his creations in illustration, using watercolor or ink on paper, puting a modern spin on traditional fare, or taking a unique approach to plating - the entire process is a vibrant and evolving exploration.
