Daniel Schmachtenberger

Daniel Schmachtenberger is the Director of Research and Development and co-founder of The Neurohacker Collective, where he is focused on developing processes and technologies for advancing medicine and human optimization. He is particularly focused on personalized medicine, adequate approaches to complex illness, and deepening our knowledge of how the human regulatory systems function, how they break down, and how they can be supported to function with greater resilience.

Ben Gleib

Ben Gleib was named by TBS one of the "funniest comedians working today." He is host, head writer and executive producer of "Idiotest," the Emmy-nominated brain teaser game show on GSN, in its 4th season with 210 episodes. His Showtime special "Neurotic Gangster" is airing now. He's a regular on The "Today Show" on NBC, host of social impact news show ASPIREist on HLN, and was one of the stars of "Chelsea Lately" on E! for seven seasons. He has been an on-air contributor to CNN, NPR, co-anchored ABC News digital, and his news & politics podcast "Last Week On Earth" debuted on iTunes Comedy at #9.

George Gascon

George Gascón is the District Attorney for the City and County of San Francisco. He is the first Latino to hold the office in San Francisco, and the nation’s first police chief to become District Attorney.

In the many positions Gascón has held throughout his career—the Assistant Chief of the Los Angeles Police Department, Chief of Police in Mesa, Arizona, Chief of Police in San Francisco, and, most recently, District Attorney for the City and County of San Francisco—his commitment to fairness, service, and public safety has been steadfast.

Since his appointment in January 2011 as the District Attorney, Gascón has earned a national reputation as a visionary in criminal justice reform. He has been named among the Top 100 Lawyers in California by the Daily Journal, the Anti-Defamation League recently honored him with its prestigious Civil Rights Award, and the Southern California Leadership Network distinguished him with its Visionary Award, and Win With Justice, WNBA All-Star Maya Moore's social action campaign, presented him with its Impact Award.

Nikki Glaspie

Nikki Glaspie, who traveled the world as the drummer in superstar Beyoncé's all-woman backup band, has honed a clear vision of herself and others as musicians. She credits her years at Berklee, from which she graduated in 2005, and performing in Boston in leading her to that vision. When she returned to Berklee in 2012 to speak about her success as a professional drummer, producer, and arranger, she explained, "Being a musician is not only something that you do, it's something that you are." She adds that it takes discipline and dedication to pursue something as complex as music.

Glenn Kaino

Glenn Kaino is an artist with a career that spans an extraordinary range of media and creative activity. As a visual artist, he was included in the prestigious 2004 Whitney Biennial at the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, The 12th Lyon Biennial in Lyon, France, and Prospect 3 in New Orleans. He has had solo exhibitions at The High Museum of Atlanta, The Modern Ft. Worth, Texas, The Andy Warhol Museum, Pittsburgh, Performa 09, New York, the Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego, ArtPace, San Antonio, REDCAT, Los Angeles, and the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York. He has also been included in group shows at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, The Hammer Museum, and The International Film Festival Rotterdam, among others. In 2012, he was selected by the U.S. Department of State to represent the United States of America in the 13th International Cairo Biennale in Cairo, Egypt. He has an upcoming major solo exhibition and Mass Moca in North Adams, Massachusetts.

In addition to being an internationally renowned contemporary artist, Glenn has also created various platforms for the production and dissemination of art and culture. He was a co-founder of Deep River Gallery, was a founding board member of LAXART and The Mistake Room, was an active member of the Hammer Museum’s Artist Council, and most recently co-founded Active Cultures, the first arts institution focusing on the intersection between the art and culinary worlds. He currently sits on the Board of Overseers of the Hammer Museum, the Board of Directors of Fathomers, and the Board of Directors of The Music Center.
