Michel Rojkind

Michel Rojkind was born in Mexico City, where he studied Architecture and Urban Planning at the Universidad Iberoamericana. In 2002, he founded Rojkind Arquitectos (2005, “Design Vanguard”), an architecture firm focusing on design, business tactics and experiential innovation exploring innovative architectural solutions, social and urban strategies that positively impact our society and the environment.

Rojkind has been a visiting professor at SCI-Arc in L.A., IACC in Barcelona and UPenn in Philadelphia. He has participated as juror for several international awards and competitions and has lectured in many different countries.

His lectures have been recognized globally: “Innovation” from Architectural Record Magazine, 2011; TEDx, 2010 and 3rd Holcim Forum for Sustainable Construction sustainable in 2010, World Architecture Festival (WAF) in 2013, Design Indaba during 2014, PLAT 2016 & 2017 and PINC 2017.

Gagan Biyani

Gagan Biyani is an entrepreneur, marketer, and journalist. He was a co-founder and President of Udemy, a large online education company, and also was co-founder and CEO of Sprig, a food delivery company. He has also started the Growth Hackers Conference, and worked at Lyft and TechCrunch when each was less than 30 employees. In 10 years in Silicon Valley, he has had 7 co-founders, his companies have raised over $200 million in venture capital, employed over 1,500 employees and he has been named to Fast Company's Most Creative People and Forbes' 30 under 30 list. Sprig was eventually shut down, while Udemy is the category leader in education.

Baratunde Thurston

Baratunde Thurston recently served as supervising producer for The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, where he oversaw digital expansion. He co-founded Cultivated Wit and Panoply’s About Race podcast and wrote the New York Times bestseller How To Be Black. He is a correspondent with Nat Geo’s Explorer series and the host of Clarify, a video series produced by Spotify and Mic, featuring political conversations with musicians.

Rafael Casal

Bay Area musician, writer, producer, and poet Rafael Casal recently co-wrote and starred in Oakland breakout film "Blindspotting." He has shared the stage with greats like Carole King, Kanye West, Ludacris, Lauryn Hill, Alanis Morissette, and George Clinton. Rafael is the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of the BARS workshop at The Public Theater in New York.

Bahiyah Robinson

Bahiyah Yasmeen Robinson started her first business importing textiles from Tanzania to the United States in 1998. Since then, she has worked largely as a consultant and advisor, engaging public-private sector stakeholders and building partnerships to drive ecosystems with demonstrated social and economic impact. Bahiyah's passion lies in empowering entrepreneurs as well as private and public sector organizations to design and implement innovative marketing strategies through technology, media, and the arts, inclusive of the African Diaspora. In 2014, she co-founded Ebola Deeply - a news and media platform that was created to share fair and balanced information about the global health crisis. Bahiyah is also the Founder of Young Art Collector, an initiative that convenes and engages young contemporary art collectors to build and grow their collections around African Diasporan art and produces events with top galleries and arts institutions internationally.

Nathalie Molina Nino

Nathalie Molina Niño is the author of LEAPFROG, The New Revolution for Women Entrepreneurs (Penguin Random House, Tarcher Perigee) and an impact investor targeting high-growth businesses that benefit women and the planet. A confessed but recovering serial entrepreneur, Molina Niño launched her first tech startup at the age of twenty. She's the cofounder of Entrepreneurs@Athena at the Athena Center for Leadership Studies of Barnard College at Columbia University.

Before that, she spent over a decade sharing her opinionated flavor of business advice and growth strategy with organizations like Disney, Microsoft, MTV, Mattel, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Jesse Draper is founding partner of Halogen Ventures and creator and host of Emmy nominated television series, The Valley Girl Show. Draper is a 4th generation venture capitalist focused on early stage investing in female founded consumer technology. Among her 50 portfolio companies, are the Skimm, Carbon38, HopSkipDrive, The Flex Company, Eloquii (recently sold to Walmart) & Sugarfina. She stars on SET's television series Meet the Drapers currently in it's second season and has a new podcast called Lady Bosses co-hosted by former ABC's The Bachelor - Ben Higgins.

Lonely C of Soul Clap & Nick Monaco

Lonely C is typically associated for his work as one half of the DJ/Production duo Soul Clap who spent the past decade touring the world (collaborating with legends such as George Clinton (Parliament-Funkadelic), Nona Hendryx, Louie Vega and Midnight Magic to name a few) and are founding members of the Brooklyn based musical collective Crew Love; however Lonely C is Charles’ latest solo endeavor and with a recently finished full-length album titled “Lonely C - Charles & Tribulations” 2018 is looking to be a very exciting year for new growth.
