## About Summit

Summit curates a diverse membership community of leaders across industries. Members are selected through an interview process that evaluates leadership in their field and alignment with Summit's 8 community principles, which emphasize hospitality, friendship, learning, and being present.

Summit's programming spans six pillars: Talks, Performances, Wellness, Culinary, Arts, and Impact. Past presenters and performers include John Legend, Jeff Bezos, Shonda Rhimes, Jessica Alba, Malcolm Gladwell, Kendrick Lamar, Jane Fonda, Brene Brown, and many others.

## Events

Summit produces two primary event formats:

- **Events**: Multi-day flagship gatherings for founders, operators, investors, and creators. Summit Napa Valley is the annual fall flagship for business leaders; Summit Basecamp at Lake Tahoe is the winter retreat focused on culture, wellness, and the outdoors.
- **Excursions**: Smaller, destination-driven trips that deepen community through shared adventure. Recent and upcoming excursions include Summit Family Campout (Columbia River Gorge), Summit Sarara (Kenya), and Summit Sacred Valley (Peru).
