ROLE

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the Bookkeeper will be responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable and general data entry into the accounting system. They will be working closely with company staff members to ensure data is processed accurately and timely.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Accurately review, code and process vendor invoices

  • Perform data entry associated with accounts payable and accounts receivable

  • Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies

  • Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards

  • Follow internal controls and processes

  • Setup ACH payments and other transfer methods for disbursement runs

SKILLS + REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma, Associate degree in Accounting preferred

  • 2-3 years’ experience with accounts payable / receivable or general accounting

  • Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills

  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles

  • Experience with Salesforce, Quickbooks and Quickbooks Online

  • You embody the ethos and culture of the community and are a collaborative and kind human being

  • You have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

  • You have exceptional communication skills and a strong attention to detail

  • You are a self-starter who is able to work both independently and as part of a team

JOB TYPE

This is a full-time role.

COMPENSATION

Hourly, $20 - $25 per hour based and commensurate to experience level.
