ROLE

The ideal hire for this role is a data specialist who will be responsible for managing all data and accounts in Salesforce and fielding both internal and external requests related to this data, and making recommendations to marketing, sales and other departments on how to utilize the data to increase business. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Data Analysis

  • Field internal requests for information and data across company departments.

  • Generate and update marketing, finance, sales, ticketing, and additional reports as necessary.

  • Oversee the maintenance of account records and all associated data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Provide daily and weekly reports on sales volume and revenue with context as to origins of sales.

  • Data modeling including recommendations on data to collect from community members and registrations.

  • Analyze existing sales data per Event and identify trends, patterns and market segments that can be targeted specifically with sales and marketing efforts.

  • Evaluate historical and segmented data to assist in developing targeted sales efforts.

  • Identify and assist in evaluating conversion rates on sales campaigns. 

  • Assist with facilitating sales efforts including issuing event invitation links, managing products and orders, processing registrations, cancellations and refunds.  

Customer Relationship Management

  • Field external requests from community members related to their accounts, purchases, registrations, etc. 

  • Timely funneling community member complaints to the appropriate responsible party for resolution.

  • Facilitate event ticketing and registration, including product creation and inventory management in Salesforce, credit/cancellation processing, and attendee/staff/talent registration. 

  • Oversee CRM process management and train employees across organizations on proper workflow. 

  • Work with team members to integrate and assist with the build-out of any event-specific programmatic data into Salesforce.

SKILLS

  • You are a data management specialist who is discerning, detail-oriented, and organized.

  • 3+ years in Salesforce experience is a must. 

  • Experience in data analysis with an eye toward sales efforts.

  • You are able to communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and in a customer-facing environment.

  • Experience in the high-end event industry is not required, but it is a plus.

  • You embody the ethos and culture of the community and are a collaborative and kind human being.

  • You have exceptional analytical skills and a strong attention to detail.

  • You are a self-starter who is able to work both independently and as part of a team.

This is a full-time role.

COMPENSATION

Salary, based and commensurate to experience level.
